This is a square, 150-acre site that is adjacent to the major thoroughfare, Tower Road, close to the Denver International Airport. All too often development occurs only along the edge of major thoroughfares while the next, interior layers remain dormant or undesirable. As a result, to counter this negative type of development, this design tries to address this by creating a heart to the site which is defined by a loop road that penetrates the site and forms the spine of the development. This loop road also opens up the depth of the site with minimal upfront infrastructure. The program for the site includes hotels, retail and restaurant spaces, service and commercial spaces, offices, residential, research & development spaces and flexible spaces, as well as, parks, and water retention.
