The Thomas Residence was a remodel of an existing home in the Oakland Hills. This project was done while working at Jeffrey Wood Architects. The clients wanted to take a very simple one story home and give it a modern feel while also giving it some verticality. We remodeled the kitchen and added 2 new bedrooms as well as modified the master bedroom. This project was mentioned in the SF Chronicle’s critic John King’s column as one of “the few jewels” in the Oakland hills.
